BOOKING YOUR TAXI

 

Are prices per person?

All rates quoted on Radio taxis Nerja website are per vehicle and not per person.

 

How do I pay for the taxi?

Payment is due once you  have reached your destination and should be paid to the driver in Euros.

 

Can I book a taxi near to the time of the trip?

Yes, but this must be at least two hours beforehand if you wish to be collected at Malaga airport in order to ensure the taxi is there on time. The same applies if you wish to go to Malaga airport from Nerja.

For trips within Nerja or to nearby areas a taxi can be booked at a few minutes notice by telephoning our central office on  00 34 952 520537.

 

Are the Taxis Licenced and Insured?

Yes, all our vehicles have all the necessary licences which have been issued by Nerja Town Hall and they are fully insured with cover for all passengers.

Beware of some illegal taxi services as these are taxis operating WITHOUT licences or Public Liability insurance. Find out more about rogue taxi services on our web page titled “Official licences”.

 

Do the taxis have baby and booster seats?

Yes, please notify us of your requirements when making your booking. These ítems are supplied at no extra cost. Find out more in “Services”

 

 

AT THE AIRPORT

What happens if my flight is delayed?

Our central office keeps us updated on flight arrival times and possible delays. Your taxi will be waiting for you upon arrival, whatever  time that may be. The driver will be waiting at the exit point of the Arrivals Hall, immediately to the right once you have gone through the glass doors at the end of baggage reclaim.

Where is the  Arrivals Hall situated?

In Terminal 3. We will be waiting for you  immediately on the right after you come through the glass doors. The driver will keep an eye on your flight number on the screens around the airport. Should there be any change in terminal your driver will still be waiting at the exit point with a placard with the passenger’ s name.

Will the taxi driver be able to help me with my luggage?

Yes, he will offer to help you with your luggage.


ABOUT THE JOURNEY

Will I have to share the taxi with other people?

No, the taxi is for the exclusive use of those who have booked it, you will never have to share with anyone else.

 

Will there be room for all of my luggage?

So that we may provide you a taxi with sufficient room for your luggage please detail the number of suitcases you will be bringing with you on the booking form. We have vehicles  with extra  luggage space. Visit the page titled “Our Vehicles” for further details.

 

Can I smoke in the Taxi?

No, it is forbiden to smoke in Public Service vehicles in Spain.

 

Should I tip the driver?

If you wish to show your appreciation to the driver for having provided an efficient, courteous and helpful service then you can offer a small tip. You are not obliged to do this. However, should you wish to do so, rest assured this will go to the driver and not to Radio Taxis Nerja.

 

How long is the journey time between Malaga airport and Nerja?

The journey time is approximately 45 minutes, depending on traffic, weather conditions, etc. The taxi takes the most direct route, which is along the motorway. For more information about the journey and prices go to “Nerja Taxi Transfers”.

 

 

CANCELLATIONS, CHANGES AND BOOKINGS

How can I cancel or make changes to my booking?

 

To cancel or make changes to  your booking you must fill in another  Booking Form and specify any changes  or reasons for cancellation in the box titled “Other Details”.

 

Can I book my return trip once I am in Spain?

Yes, you can do this either on the “Reservations” webpage or by telephoning 00 34 952 520537. In order to ensure that you are provided with the most suitable vehicle for  your needs we would ask you to do this at least 12 hours beforehand. Should you be unable to do this then please ‘phone 00 34 952 520537 to find out if we are able to supply you with a vehicle.
